The Walk To End Homelessness is 2.5 miles. There are about 500 people expected to participate on the walk. Volunteers will be needed throughout the morning to help with registration, event setup and encouraging walkers along the route to name a few. Volunteers will be needed from 5:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
The Walk to End Homelessness will bring together people of all ages, races and backgrounds to the Riverside Homeless Service Campus to engage homeless service providers and see how we can collectively end homelessness in our community. All money raised through the Walk to End Homelessness will support the 25 Cities Initiative that helps provide housing for homeless individuals coupled with case management to address any barriers to obtaining and sustaining housing. Homelessness is a problem that affects us all, and it can be solved. Your sponsorship will be the first step in the right direction to help get this walk started in the right step!
